The four habits represented by the acronym RARE are part of the essence of life. They represent what every man should know and really know by heart and be fully acquainted with. Being able to remain relational in any circumstance is of utmost importance in any leader. And it cannot function without the other three.
The way the authors illustrate them gives a lot of insight as well as a basis for practical experience. The way they combine this with a thorough insight into the fast track of the deep brain (and the right hemisphere) and the slower track of the left cortex, is unique. It makes this book stand out above most other books on manhood and leadership.

I accidentally came across R.A.R.E. Leadership and it has changed my whole life. I regret not having this information and understanding of relationships 50yrs ago. I've spent a life time seeking out wisdom and biblical knowledge has been my best source, followed by my own life observations, contemplation, personal reflection and engaging conversation with others, who were willing to share personal life insights. However, for me, this R.A.R.E Leadership has been a secondary foundational supplement to my biblical wisdom in the pursuit of how best to actually engage others. It has provided me with a greater hope and more relational success in my marriage of 45+ years, (now 47+ years) Another Deeper Walk resource that practically has changed my life is "Healing the Wounded Heart". Thank God for people who are willing & compassionate enough to share their wisdom, knowledge with others. Thank You!!! MMW54
Drs Warner and Wilder simplify much of the brain science and make it easy to remember the basic relational skills that are so transforming. Read it, study it, apply it, and practice--life and relationships will improve greatly.
